Working Student Technical Writer / Communications (f/m/d)

Your tasks will be:

  • You'll work closely with tech leads to research a wide variety of IT topics and edit them in English (linguistically as well as visually) to make them understandable to more than just our devs.
  • You conceptualize, elaborate and develop a storyline on specific topics, for example to drive awareness of internal data protection measures.
  • You gather input from your colleagues and other research sources and prepare it creatively.
  • You drive our internal documentation platform "Book of the Bee" by documenting processes and maintaining content, ideally thinking along with the information architecture.
  • You'll support our Engineers by writing blog articles for https://ioki.engineering (under construction) and editing them.
  • We can think of many more projects. We will find the right one for you and your further development!

Job requirements

What you bring with you:

  • You are studying computer science, online journalism, technical writing or a comparable course of study and have already successfully completed the first semester.
  • You enjoy grasping technical topics and then packaging them in easy-to-understand, relaxed words, images and graphics. Ideally, you already have a strong understanding of IT and data protection.
  • You embrace new challenges and feel comfortable working in an agile environment with fast-paced, dynamic processes.
  • You have an independent, goal- and result-oriented approach to work and a willingness to take on responsibility with high standards for the quality of your own work.
  • You are not afraid to think about things from scratch and drive them forward independently.
  • Your profile is rounded off by a fluent command of written and spoken English, ideally you also speak German.
